Child Care Inspections

CDHD Public Health Specialists work with around 600 child care providers annually to ensure the facilities are safe and healthy for the children in their care. Inspectors check several areas, including food safety, general cleanliness and hazards, good hygiene, certifications for CPR and first aid training, complete immunization records, and properly operating smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Food Inspections

CDHD Food Inspectors conduct regular inspections of restaurants, taverns, grocery stores, meat markets and bakeries to determine proper hygiene and food handling practices of operators and their employees. Learn More

CDHD's database provides an interface to all subdivision and septic system records in CDHD databases. We strive to maintain complete and accurate records. FREE HEALTH SCREENING

Make your health a priority and attend a free health screening event! Screenings consist of a single finger poke to run a full lipid panel (Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides, and Blood Glucose) and an A1C test. Screenings take approximately 20 minutes and participants will leave with a copy of their results. Know your numbers – Get Screened! No appointment necessary, at the Mountain Home Library.
