Central District Health is committed to improving the health and well-being of our community. Wellness exams offer the opportunity to promote healthy lifestyles and detect unrecognized problems in asymptomatic adults. Particular attention is devoted to reviewing family health history, as well as the client’s. Health promotion activities are emphasized during this type of visit.

Appointments are available:

  • Monday through Friday in the Boise office, 208-327-7400.
  • Call for appointment availability in McCall, 208-634-7194.
  • Call for appointment availability in Mountain Home, 
    208-587-4407.

Women’s Health Check offers free breast and cervical cancer screening to women who qualify. Qualifying information available HERE. (Idaho Department of Health and Welfare) 

Women’s Health Check screening services are only offered at our McCall office.

Mountain Home residents are referred to Glenns Ferry Health Center, Inc.

Ada and Boise county candidates are referred to Family Medicine Health Center.

Note: The Board of Health will meet every Tuesday at 4 p.m. via teleconference unless otherwise indicated to discuss COVID-19 developments. Regularly scheduled Board of Health meetings are also planned and are anticipated to include COVID-19 discussion as well as other agenda items.
