Central District Health, and Idaho’s six other public health districts, are in daily communication with our local health systems and community partners. Together, we are responding to the current situation, and preparing for the coming weeks and likely months of this outbreak.
With guidance from the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Central District Health is confident that we are making the right choices for the health, safety and well-being of our communities. This is a trying time for everyone and while we appreciate the input from our community members, we will not be able to respond to every suggestion or question about supply distribution, healthcare system efforts and other outbreak logistics across Region 4, the state of Idaho or the country.
We encourage anyone who has questions about how to access resources during this time of need to visit our COVID-19 web pages, the state of Idaho website, coronavirus.idaho.gov, and the CDC website, cdc.gov/coronavirus. Questions about prevention, self-care, and symptoms can also be directed to the CDH Call Center Monday-Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at 208-321-2222.
