Due to COVID 19, in addition to the Friday meeting previously scheduled on December 18, the Board of Health will meet weekly on Tuesdays at 5:15 p.m. as needed. (subject to change)

At this time, all meetings of the Central District Health (CDH) Board of Health will be held via teleconference and offered for live viewing via CDH's YouTube page.

Submit Written Comments: If your comments are in response to an agenda item for a specific meeting date, please note that comments must be received 24-hours in advance of the applicable meeting to allow for routing and board member review. All messages will be shared with the Board and included in public record.

Important information about attending the viewing room at CDH:

  • A face covering that covers the nose and mouth is required to be worn inside of CDH's facilities. A face covering must fit close to your face without large side-gaps that covers the nose and mouth. Acceptable face coverings include: Cloth masks made of tightly woven fabrics, such as cotton and cotton blends, and medical and non-medical disposal masks. Any mask that incorporates a valve or vent, or contains openings, holes, or visible gaps is non-compliant. The only exception to wearing a mask is children age 2 and younger. CDH is not making exceptions due to the serious nature of this pandemic and the risk that anyone unmasked could expose others in the building to the coronavirus, which causes the serious and deadly disease, COVID-19.
  • For anyone not willing or able to wear a face covering, CDH offers the opportunity to view the meeting through our live stream on YouTube. Meeting videos are also posted on the CDH YouTube page for viewing following the meeting.
  • Physical distancing of at least 6-feet is required.
    • No food or drink are allowed in the meeting rooms.
    • No verbal public comments will be accepted during the meeting.

In-Person Meeting Information & Protocol Guidance:

Meeting Location: CDH Syringa Room | Room capacity: 5 guests

Over Flow Location: CDH White Pine Room | Room capacity: 6 guests

Notice is hereby given that Central District Health's Board of Health will hold a regular meeting via video conference on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 5:15 p.m. at its Armstrong Office in Boise, ID. The Syringa Room will accommodate seating for 5 guests and the White Pine Conference Room will be available as an over flow room, accommodating seating for 6 guests.

Six-foot physical distancing will be required and face coverings must be worn. A face covering that covers the nose and mouth is required to be worn inside of CDH's facilities. A face covering must fit close to your face without large side-gaps that covers the nose and mouth. Acceptable face coverings include: Cloth masks made of tightly woven fabrics, such as cotton and cotton blends, and medical and non-medical disposal masks. Any mask that incorporates a valve or vent, or contains openings, holes, or visible gaps is non-compliant.

The only exception to wearing a mask is children age 2 and younger. Any person who does not wish to physically distance and wear a face covering will not be allowed to enter and is invited to observe the meeting through live streaming. Live streaming is available to the public from their own device. No food or drink are allowed in the meeting rooms. No outdoor viewing option will be available. No verbal public comments will be accepted during the meeting. 

The Central District Health Board of Health has added regular scheduled weekly Board of Health meetings through the remainder of 2020 every Tuesday at 5:15 p.m., unless noted. These meetings will be in addition to the remaining annually scheduled Friday meeting on December 18 at 8:30 a.m. (This public notice satisfies the notice of meeting requirements in Idaho Code 74-204(1), Open Meeting Law.)
